PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pursuing ruler which enables drawing of a pursuing line intended for simply, correctly and freely by working out a focal lost point created by arbitrarily selected two lines where a lost point and a disappearing point are considered present and drawing a pursuing line additionally. ;SOLUTION: The pursuing ruler is constituted of one set of a notched ruler body and a linear ruler body. The notched ruler body has a straight-line ruler part formed on one of the sides, in the longer direction, of a thin platelike rectangle. The extension of the straight-line ruler part is formed in the radial direction and at the same time, a plurality of arclike orbital notched parts which show a varying equidistance from the center point, are formed from the straight-line ruler part to the other side in the longer direction. The linear ruler body has a straight-line ruler part formed on one of the sides, in the longer direction, of the sheetlike rectangle. Further, the extension of this linear ruler part is formed in the radial direction and at the same time, a plurality of arclike orbital line parts or orbital groove parts which show a varying equidistance from the center point, are formed from the straight-line ruler part to the other side in the longer direction. Thus the orbital notched part of the notched ruler body and the orbital line part or the orbital groove part of the linear ruler body are positioned symmetrically as a constitutional setup.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
