PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently change the setting of a trend pen while holding operator' s intention in high regard in a state wherein the settings of the trend pen need to be changed frequently. ;SOLUTION: This processor comprises a data storage device 3 which stores current-value data of devices at respective parts in a plant, a trend pen setting device 6 which sets a trend pen that an operator supports corresponding to trend data among the current-value data, and a trend pen setting rule storage device 11 which stores a setting rule for deciding settings of the trend pen according to the current-value data. The trend pen is selectively set according to the setting rule corresponding to the current-value data and the trend pen set by the trend pen setting device 6 or a trend graph corresponding to the trend pen set according to the setting rule is selectively displayed. While the degree of freedom of selection by the operator is held, the setting or selection of the trend pen is automated, so while the operator is supported, the individuality of the operator can be held in high regard.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
