PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode, in which a high battery capacity is maintained and a discharge capacity at a low temperature can be improved. SOLUTION: A hydrogen storage alloy electrode includes a first hydrogen storage alloy having a composition represented by the following formula 1 and a second hydrogen storage alloy having a composition represented by the following formula 2. The weight ratio of the second hydrogen storage alloy to the total weight of the first and the second hydrogen storage alloys is 5% or more and less than 70%. (1) Lm(1)1-a-bMgaTbNicAd (2) Lm(2)1-a-bMgaTbNicAd.
