PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic apparatus which is capable of detecting the direction of hanging an elastic supporting member and is capable of easily correcting an error by diagnosing whether the elastic supporting member is hung in a normal direction or not in, for example, a production line for vehicles.;SOLUTION: When a detaining member 15 is hung to a detaining part 14a within a guide groove at the time of fixing a disk device 10 to a 'horizontally laid' state, a detecting switch 31 is turned 'off'. When the detaining member 15 in hung to a detaining part 14b at the time of fixing the device to a 'vertically laid' state, a detecting switch 31 is turned 'on'. This data is sent via a control section 20 in the disk device 10 to a master control section 25 in the vehicle and is further announced to an external diagnostic device 28.
