PURPOSE:To hardly damage the feet of a driver even in trampling on pebbles, nails, etc., by laying an insole on the upper sides of a shoe sole material and a closing material. CONSTITUTION:A shoe sole material A comprises a soft outsole 5 like rubber and relatively hard midsole 6 laminated adhesively fixedly to each other. An insole 7 is disposed on the upper surface of the midsole 6. A pair of slots B, B with the long sides extending longitudinally of the shoe are provided in the relatively front part of the shoe sole material A, and a cleat 8 is mounted through the slots B, B. The cleat 8 has locking pieces 8A, 8A projecting respectively forward and backward and an opening 8B. When the cleat is mounted to the shoe, a pair of connecting members 10, 10 having respectively flange-like heads 9 are inserted in the slots B, B and an elliptical washer 11 is fitted in an opening 8B in the cleat 8. In such a condition, the washer 11 sandwiches and fixedly fastens the shoe sole material A with bolts 12, 12.
