PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for installation of a remote monitor controller and to reduce the cost of the system. ;SOLUTION: A memory card 5 has a storage area to store view channel data collection date designation information and a storage area to store view channel data. A user side program rating survey data collection device 7 removably and easily contains the memory card 5. The view channel data collection date designation information is read from the memory card 5, and the memory card 5 stores view channel data detected and collected in the case of selecting a channel by a remote control signal from a remote controller 8 together with time data at a time on the basis of the view channel data collection date designation information. A center side program rating survey data collection device 6 also removably and easily contains the memory card 5 and reads the view channel data from the memory card 5 that stores the view channel data by the user side program rating survey data collection device 7 as data to generate program rating survey data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
