The method proposed for immobilizing organic macromolecules or biopolymers, in particular enzymes, antibodies, antigenes, DNA/RNA and microorganisms, comprises mixing the macromolecules or biopolymers with an aqueous, solvent-free polymer dispersion, applying this mixture in the form of a cohesive film to a substrate and carefully drying the film. In particular, the polymer film is applied in such a way that it lies over the measurement electrode of a biosensor transducer.
