PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a powder nutritional supplement using eels or conger eels as a raw material by enabling the removal of a bone marrow liquid from the bones of the eels or the like. SOLUTION: This method for producing a powder nutritional supplement using eels or conger eels as a raw material comprises subjecting bones taken out the eels or the like to the primary washing treatment, a mincing treatment, the secondary washing treatment, and so on, to form rice-like bone grains b, draining the bone grains b, charging the drained bone grains into a retort bag, subjecting the bone grains to a high pressure.high temperature treatment process 5a at 70 to 180 deg.C at 1.5 to 4 atm to remove the bone marrow liquid from the bone grains, further subjecting the left bone grains to the tertiary washing treatment 5b, a hot air-drying process 6 and a pulverizing process 7 to form the powder d, and finally subjecting the powder d to a sterilizing.deodorizing process 8 comprising irradiating 1.5 to 1, 500 m IR light for a prescribed time to prepare the powdery nutritional supplement suitable for drinking.
