JOINT STRUCTURE BETWEEN REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMN AND REINFORCED BEAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve filling property of concrete in a panel zone and obtain the toughness of an RC column. ;SOLUTION: Vertical surfaces of L-type steels 5 and 5a forming a square frame are internally in contact with a column main reinforcement, and horizontal surfaces are fixed to vertical flanges 1 of the inserted ends in an RC column of H-type steel beams B, Ba, C and Ca. The mutual connections of the H-type steel beams are so made that an x-direction connects the L-type steels 5 and 5a with reinforcing plates 3 and that a y-direction connects end plates 4 and 4a of the inserted ends in the RC column of the H-type steel beams with reinforcing plates 3a to form uneven crosses of the reinforcing plates 3 and 3a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
