PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a profile material with a complicated hollow chamber having high accuracy at a high speed. SOLUTION: In order to produce a profile material with a hollow chamber made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin having a constant cross section over the total length thereof according to a cooling nozzle method, a melt of a synthetic resin is extruded through a heated profile die 1 to be directly passed through a cooled sizing die 2 successively under press pressure to be extruded while the formed profile material with the hollow chamber is cooled in the sizing region of the die 2 from the outer and inner surfaces thereof. The synthetic resin melt arranged corresponding to the position in the profile material with the hollow chamber and having a yet broken-off web part between web part ends and having the shape of the profile material part independently opened mutually is extruded from the profile die region and the yet broken-off web part is replenished with the synthetic resin melt flowing from the rear under press pressure in the sizing region and the resin melt is integrally connected to the web part ends by heat of fusion.
