PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium with audio data and video data recorded thereon in data structure capable of reproducing them in connection, and a method and device for recording and reproducing.;SOLUTION: This invention has different kinds of first and second data consisting of plural data units, first and second data unit descriptor tables where information with respect to first and second data units is respectively recorded as a data descriptor, and first and second program descriptor table where information with respect to one or more data units constituting each program is stored in the program descriptor of the program in the form of information with respect to each data unit descriptor.
