PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visualize complicated interlocking states of many communication units in a communication network in a form of high intimacy to a user. ;SOLUTION: In this personification processing method, a personification mass section 2 assigns a personification model section 4 to a communication unit connected to a device interlocking network 9, an operating state of the communication unit is converted into personification feeling of the personification model section 4 and a communication state between communication units is converted into a feeling relation between the personification model sections 4, 4 respectively. Then a personification feeling revision section 6 updates a pseudo feeling of the personification section 4 of a communication unit making communication on the basis of the communication state and the pseudo feeling just before. Moreover, a feeling relation revision section 7 updates the feeling relation between the personification model sections 4, 4 of the communication unit making the communication on the basis of the updated pseudo feeling and updates the feeling relation between the personification model sections 4, 4 corresponding respectively to the communication unit making communication and other communication units on the basis of the updated feeling relation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
