PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDMA wireless receiver that can facilitate setting of parameters and can also simplify control to converge phase rotation caused in a base band signal.;SOLUTION: A 1st correlation value calculation section 105-1 calculates a 1st correlation value between a 1st replica signal which is sequentially rotated forward by a prescribed rotating amount and a known signal part in a received signal, a 2nd correlation value calculation section 105-2 calculates a 2nd correlation value between a 2nd replica signal which is not rotated and the known signal part in the received signal, a 3rd correlation value calculation section 105-3 calculates a 3rd correlation value between a 3rd replica signal which is sequentially rotated backward by a prescribed rotating amount and the known signal part in the received signal, a comparison section 107 selects a maximum correlation value among the 1st-3rd correlation values to detect a phase rotation direction, a control section 108 changes control voltage according to the phase rotation direction, and a VCO 109 generates a carrier of a frequency corresponding to the control voltage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
