PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove sand, and minute stores smaller than grain of rice or the like which are mixed in the rice without crushing the rice by a rotary blade by a method wherein a structure of a rice-washing vessel is made into a double structure, the inside vessel thereof is made reticular, the vessel is vibrated vertically and from side to side, and the whole rice in the vessel is shaked. ;SOLUTION: After turning on a power source to an electric motor 3 mounted to a vessel 1, a rod 3-1 extended upward from the electric motor 3 is vibrated in the circumferential direction of the vessel 1. A reticulated vessel 2, by superimposing at a specific position so as to be dropped into the vessel 1, is connected to the rod 3-1, and the whole vessel 2 is vibrated from side to side by left and right motion of the rod 3-1. Recessed surfaces are provided at least at three uniform positions on an upper edge of the vessel 1. Further, rollers 6 are attached to the lower face of the upper edge of the vessel 2 opposed to the recessed surfaces. By combining the vessels 1, 2 in this manner vertical motion of the vessel 2 is generated consequent upon the side to side motion of the vessel 2 by the electric motor 3, and the effect on rice-washing can be further raised.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
