PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact testing machine suitable for the automatic exchange of a specimen by swingably hanging a plurality of hammer members on the mounting base of the specimen, and successively reciprocating them between a test position and a retraction position by accompanying the movement of the hanging member to enable a test. ;SOLUTION: The female screw member 17 of a hammer hanging member hung by continuously mounting two or more hammer members 20 is screwed on a screw transport shaft 16. The screw transport shaft 16 is driven by a timing belt 36, and the hammer hanging member 25 is moved to set the hammer member 20 at a test position. A plurality of the hammer members 20 are moved from the test position positioned in the center of the screw transport shaft 16 to the right and left retraction positions for a specimen mounting base, moved from the retraction position to the test position, and successively moved to perform a Charpy impact test. The hammer member 20 is moved to the retraction position, and the other hammer member 20 is moved from the retraction position to the test position to perform testing.
