Pendulum ram impact testing machine comprises a first abutment (13) and a second abutment (14) for a testing body. At least one of the abutments has a power measuring sensor (18). An Independent claim is also included for a system for carrying out a instrumented Charpy pendulum impact test using the above pendulum ram impact testing machine.
