Invention Patent: B "ELECTRICAL COMPONENT FORMED OF LAMINATED METAL, ADAPTED TO BE WELDED IN CONTACT AREAS OF A CIRCUIT SUBSTRATE AND HAVING A WELDING STOP ASPECT" D. The invention relates to an electrical component (7) formed of laminated metal, which is adapted to be welded in contact areas (4) of a circuit substrate and which, in at least one section adjacent to the respective contact area ( 1), it is so thin and to be arranged at such a small distance from the substrate surface (4) that the area of dissemination of the welding agent (6), due to capillary effects, cannot be limited to the contact area (1 ), characterized in that the section (2) of the component adjacent to the respective contact area (1) is formed with a recess (5) that is opened towards the substrate surface (4) until the lower edge (3) of said thin section (2), with the flux of the soldering agent (6) being adapted to be interrupted by said recess (5). The electrical component (7) is used in particular as a fuse.
