Invention Patent: "METHOD OF CARILONITRIAL GASOSE PRODUCT CORRENT AND HYDROGNIUM CIANET". This invention provides an improvement in a process and apparatus for the manufacture of acrylonitrile by the gaseous release of a hydrocarbon. The invention consists of contacting the stream of a gaseous product with a tempered fluid in a reverse jet scrubber. The tempered fluid is injected into countercurrent with the gas flow, and the gas speed is sufficient to reverse the direction of the water flow,It forms a stationary wave or a foam zone in which the tempering is rapidly made. Temperature fluid can be obtained from many sources, but is preferably obtained from a chain of disposal process from a subsequent recovery or purification stage. The tempered fluid may contain acid to facilitate the removal of ammonia from the gaseous stream. The temp fluid that isn't vaporized can be recirculated. Impurities and contaminants may be removed from the tempering fluid before recycling. In a particularly preferred realisation, tempered fluid is not cooled during recirculation,and this cooling process is essentially adiabatic, with the sensitive heat of the hot gas current being converted into latent heat in the form of steam.
