1. The centrifugal separator with a cooled centrifuge chamber is designed for medical and laboratory purposes. It has a housing containing an insulating case, which accommodates an electric motor. A rotor is mounted on the motor shaft. The housing is closed tight with a top lid. It is characterised in that it comprises the cold (7) and the hot (8) side of the thermo-electric cooling system. The cold side (7) is connected in a closed circuit to the interior of the centrifuge chamber (13) through the inlet duct (11), on one side, and through the outlet duct (9), on the other side. The rotor (4) is mounted inside the centrifuge chamber (13).
