SIMULTANEOUS RINGING AND DISPATCH EMULATION IN AN INTEGRATED WIRELESS/WIRELINE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Simultaneous ringing and dispatch functions are emulated in an integrated wireless/wireline telecommunication system. An inbound call destined for a subscriber of the system may be processed such that multiple phone numbers associated with the subscriber are rung approximately simultaneously. The first number which answers is then connected with the inbound call. Multiple answering parties may also be joined in a conference bridge with the inbound call thus enabling broadcast and multi-cast operation.
