The invention concerns an oral douche (1) with a stirrup-shaped nozzle holder (2) whose two legs (3) engage about both sides of the teeth. Arranged on the inner sides of the legs (3) are nozzle openings (23 to 26) which are directed towards the open end (18) of the nozzle holder (2) at an acute angle (β) to the axis of rotation (4) in order to direct the nozzle jets (32) towards the tooth roots (37) onto the lateral faces of the teeth (33).
