The invention relates to a vehicle door with a door casing comprising a contoured door inner panel (1), which is sealed from the exterior of the vehicle door by an exchangeable door outer skin (2). The aim of the invention is to reliably prevent, in a simple manner, moisture from entering the vehicle passenger compartment from the door casing. To this end, the invention provides that the door inner panel (1) is joined, on its side facing the outer skin (2), to a plastic supporting part (8) provided with fastening elements (13), which support the door components to be installed in the door casing and which fasten the structural elements (9, 10, 10'), said elements projecting into the vehicle passenger compartment, to the door inner panel (1). The openings (5, 6) which are required in the door inner panel (1) for accommodating the structural elements (9, 10, 10') that project into the vehicle passenger compartment are sealed, for example, by the plastic supporting part (8). The door components are installed in the interior of the door casing and removed therefrom from the door exterior (i.e. due to the provision of a door outer panel that can be pulled open).
