PURPOSE: The method for online monitor and authentication via the internet, which uses a monitor program with a troy type and a device in which the program is recorded, is provided to protect the right of a client, by making the program monitor all users who login client's program and device without the authentication, and thereby preventing them from being illegally used or copied. CONSTITUTION: An access to a server is requested(S101). The server checks if the monitor program is copied and cracked(S102). If the monitor program has been damaged, the message for asking the reinstall of the monitor program is transmitted(S103), and otherwise information is received from the monitor program(S104). It is determined if the received information has been recorded in the server(S105). It is checked if the client's program has been copied within a permitted range(S107,S108). If the program copy is beyond the range, it is checked if the monitor program that has the information of the previously installed program of the client responds(S109). A program supply company takes action for preventing the illegal use of the program(S110).
