PROTECTIVE BASEMENT HAVING 10 PAIR IDC TERMINALS

PURPOSE: A protective basement having 10 pair IDC terminals is provided so that a contact device loss can be remarkably reduced, by easily performing an interconnection and improving an electrical performance thereof. CONSTITUTION: A protective basement having 10 pair IDC terminals is employed to protect subscribers from an overvoltage and excessive current, and compensates for a contact loss. A protector insertion terminal and an IDC terminal are formed in a single body. At this time, an incoming cable and an outgoing cable are aligned from the left to the adjacent right side. Accordingly, the interconnection is easily performed and the electrical performance thereof is improved. On the other hand, in the protective basement having the 10 pair IDC terminals, the incoming cable is connected to a contact device, and the outgoing cable is connected to an outgoing side contact device. Thereafter, the protector insertion terminal is inserted into a base, thereby finishing constitution of one line. As a result, in addition to the easy interconnection and the improved electrical performance, the contact device loss is considerably decreased.
