PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a washing work in a washing machine, reduce the amount of use of a detergent and decrease an environmental pollution due to a drainage by effectively using the property of an inorganic material with a purifying function such as charcoal (binchotan, a hard charcoal in Japan). CONSTITUTION: A purifier with which the drum of a washing machine is charged to purify washing water comprises an accommodation bag 12 made of lipophilic fibers and having a water flow property, inorganic material pieces 14 with a stain adsorbing function with which the accommodation bag 12 is filled and specific gravity adjusting pieces 16 for adjusting the specific gravity of all the purifier 10 to 0.9 to 0.93, which are uniformly mixed with the inorganic material pieces 14 and with which the accommodation bag 12 is filled.
