PURPOSE: A basketball goal system having output information which includes an indication of the number of successful shot and a sound-producing device following a basketball player's successful shot is provided which has an effect on arousing interest for children. CONSTITUTION: The basketball goal system comprises a switching device (30) installed at different positions of the front part of a backboard (10) and operated by a basketball player's successful shot; a sound effects generating device (50) such as crowd cheers and applause, responsive to a made shot; and a speaker.
