DEVICE FOR REMOVING KNIFE BURR OF STRIP EDGE

PURPOSE: A remover of strip edge knife burr is provided to remove the knife burr from the both edges of the strip before the strip grinding process. CONSTITUTION: A removing device of the strip edge knife burr(22) removes the knife burr in the edges of the strip(S) transferred to a strip grinding machine(G) in front of the strip grinding machine. The removal device for strip edge knife burr is composed of a supporting section(24) holding the movable strip; a variable grinding section(26) moving right and left to grind and to remove the knife burr; a driving unit(28) adjusting the height of the supporting section and moving the variable grinding section up and down; plural cylinders moving the supporting section up and the variable grinding section down; and a supporting frame holding the supporting section, the variable grinding section and the cylinders.
