METHOD FOR SERVICING PERSONAL PORTAL IN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A personal portal service method is provided to enable an individual user to select necessary items from a knowledge management system, and freely build a personal page based on usage frequency and importance degree. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a knowledge management server via a user terminal with a browser over the internet, and passing a user authentication step(201-207), the user receiving the knowledge management service, for example, registering a knowledge data or browsing a registered knowledge data(301), the server offering a selection window for allowing the user to select detailed items comprising the personal portal site if the user selects a personal portal site menu among the service menu on the knowledge management home page(401-403), the server offering the personal portal page, including the selected detailed items, a reset selection menu, an arrangement selection menu and an edition selection menu(404-406), and the server offering a specific service if the user selects one among the menu on the personal portal site(611,621-623,631-634).
