APPARATUS FOR CONSTRUCTING ADSL SERVICE NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus for constructing an ADSL service network is provided to easily access a DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) connected to a PSTN by deleting an ATM exchange located between an ISP(International Signaling Point) and the PSTN, converting data uplinked from the ISP into ATM data, and making E1/T1 service through the uplinking, without using the ATM exchange. CONSTITUTION: An ATM data conversion part(20) makes data uplinked from an ISP(10) into ATM data for E1/T1 service. The ATM data conversion part(20) gives and takes data with the ISP(10) through an Ethernet. The ATM data conversion part(20) consists of a CSUB-T1(Concentration Shelf Uplink Board-T1), a CSDB-T1(Concentration Shelf Downlink Board-T1) and a network access part(22). The CSUB-T1 converts data uplinked from the ISP(10) into ATM data and uplinks the ATM data to a PSTN(30). The CSDB-T1 downloads subscriber data downlinked from the PSTN(30) to the ISP(10) through the CSUB-T1. The network access part(21) executes network access between the PSTN(30) and the CSUB-T1.
