PLATING SOLUTION COMPOSITION FOR MANUFACTURE OF BLACK ZINC-NICKEL PLATED STEEL SHEET AND METHOD FOR ELECTRO-PLATING ZINC-NICKEL BASED STEEL SHEET USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A plating solution composition capable of manufacturing a black plating steel sheet directly in a plating process without additional equipment and processes and method for electro-plating a zinc-nickel based steel sheet using the composition are provided. Therefore, a black plated steel sheet having excellent blackness and corrosion resistance is obtained and the process increases productivity and reduces the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: The subject plating solution composition comprises a zinc-nickel plating solution comprising zinc chloride, nickel chloride and potassium chloride having a total metal ion concentration of 80 to 150g/L, nickel ion concentration of 10 to 15% by weight, chlorine ion concentration of 240 to 320g/L; 0.5 to 4.0g/L at least one polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 600 to 2,000 as a main additive based on the total volume of the plating solution; and 0.1 to 2.0g/L one or two or more of saccharine, naphthalene sulfonic acid and sodium benzoate. Also the electro plating is carried out under conditions of a pH of 2.0 to 3.5, temperature of 50 to 70deg.C, moving speed of continuous steel strips of 0.5 to 2.5m/sec and current density of 50 to 150A/dm¬2.
