PURPOSE: A hard drawn copper wire and vinyl-coated insulation wire for outdoor use is provided to prevent breakdown of distribution line and accident caused due to corrosion of galvanized steel wire and insulation wire. CONSTITUTION: A hard drawn copper wire(30) having a galvanized steel core and which is used as a branch line, and a vinyl-coated insulation wire for outdoor use are characterized in that an external wire(2) is formed of a hard drawn copper wire(5) having a high resistance against salt contamination, and an inner core wire(1) is formed of a galvanized steel wire(6) so as to prevent corrosion of wire, while increasing tension load. Thus, wire short and accident caused by such wire short are prevented.
