The somatotropin formulation of improved syringeability

PURPOSE: A somatotropin composition having improved syringeability is prepared by mixing somatotropin and at least one kind of fat soluble vitamin and adding bioacceptable surfactant thereto. CONSTITUTION: The somatotropin composition consists of somatotropin displaying activity in a living body, at least one kind of fat soluble vitamin such as vitamin A and E, and pharmaceutically acceptable surfactant. Therefore it shows superior syringeability than conventional somatotropin formulations even at low and room temperature. In particular, the composition contains 10-50 wt.% of somatotropin based on total composition, 100000-5000000, preferably 300000-3500000 units of vitamin A per 1g of somatotropin, and 500-12000, preferably 1500-8500 units of vitamin E per 1g of somatotropin. Also it contains 0.5-25, preferably 1-15 wt.% of pharmaceutically acceptable surfactant based on total composition.
