Apparatus for Education of Musical Performance and Method

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for teaching an instrumental performance are provided to enable a player to easily perceive an error in his/her performance, and to practice the tuning of an instrument by oneself. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for teaching an instrumental performance consists of an instrument(10); a microphone(20) for amplifying sound generated from the instrument and transmitting the sound to an input device; an analog/digital converter(30) for converting a musical interval and a rhythm in analog form applied via the microphone into digital data recognizable by a computer; a memory part(40) for saving performance data according to the instrument and for outputting a corresponding score; a comparing part(50) for comparing saved performance data with output data of the converter; a display part(60); and a sound regeneration part(70).
