A POWER SPLIT TYPE SPEED TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING A PLANETARY GEAR UNIT AND APPARATUS EMPLOYING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A power split transmission system is provided to simplify the structure of a transmission by dividing into two power split passages with using a planetary gear, and to improve power train efficiency and to reduce expenses. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission system is composed of a power split unit(1) transmitting power by dividing into two parts with one planetary gear unit; a transmission unit(2) receiving divided power from the power split unit partially, and transmitting to the power split unit by converting rotational force; and accelerating and decelerating units(5,6,7) mounted between the power split unit and the transmission unit, and the power split unit and load to convert speed and direction. The planetary gear unit has two sun gears, a carrier and pinion gears, and outputs load(4) by transmitting power with two passages. Power is adjusted to control speed with the transmission unit, and performance of the power transmission system is improved. Power loss and expenses are reduced with minimizing accelerating and decelerating units.
