POWER SPLIT TYPE SPEED TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING MULTIPLE PLANETARY GEAR UNIT AND APPARATUS EMPLOYING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A power split drive type-gear-shifting system using multiple planetary gear units and the apparatuses are provided to improve operation performance and control performance of a gear-shifting system, to reduce power loss by shifting process to the minimum, and to reduce the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: A power split drive type-gear-shifting system(4) comprises a power split drive unit, and a gear-shifting unit(3). The power split drive unit splits the power input from a power source(1) by using more than two planetary gear units into multitude, transmits, and outputs. The gear-shifting unit receives some of the split power, converts the rotary power, and transmits to the power split drive unit. The planetary gear units are a simple planetary gear unit, a complex planetary gear unit, a pair of planetary gear units, and one between a pair of complex planetary gear units. Power on the gear-shifting unit is reduced in a minimum of size required for gear shifting and the operation performance and control performance are improved, and power loss is reduced.
