FIELD: coatings of metallic and nonmetallic materials and products made therefrom from biocorrosion in various industries. SUBSTANCE: described is composition for coating metallic and nonmetallic materials. Said composition comprises petroleum wax, polyethylene wax, synthetic C17 - C20 fatty acids, 25% aqueous ammonia, C4 white spirit 150/200, primary amines, and water. Composition comprises potassium bichromate of modifying additive, ratios of compounds being as follows, wt %: petroleum wax, 14.0-16.0; polyethylene wax, 2.0-3.0; synthetic C17 - C20 fatty acids, 3.0-4.0; 25 % aqueous ammonia, 2.5-4.0; C4 white spirit 150/200, 15.0-18.0; primary amines, 0.2-0.5; potassium bichromate, 0.3-0.4; and water, the balance. Invention makes it possible to prepare cheap composition from Russia produced materials high has higher fungus resistance with respect to wide range of microscopic fungi, is resistant at elevated temperatures and relative humidity, thus allowing for reliable protection of materials and pieces of equipment during service period under tropical conditions as compared with well-known coating.
