PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wax composition for paintwork wiping-up, with which a high hardness coating film excellent in an antifouling property in particular to dry dust is firmly and beautifully formed without unevenness, and to provide an method of applying the wax composition for paintwork wiping-up.;SOLUTION: The wax composition for paintwork wiping-up contains from (A) to (C) described below, wherein a content ratio of (B) and (C) is (B):(C)=(0.25:1)-(4:1), and in the method of applying the wax composition for paintwork wiping-up, the coating film is wiped up so as to reach 1,000 nm or less after the wax composition for paintwork wiping-up has been applied to the paintwork.
