FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly synthesis of alternating copolymers of carbon monoxide and olefins containing phosphinic salts of palladium and organic salts of boron. SUBSTANCE: described is catalyst system for alternating copolymerization of carbon monoxide and olefins based on palladium acetate or palladium acetyl acetonate bis-diphenyl phosphine alkane and organic boron salt. Organic boron salt is compound of general formula: XB(C6F5)4 wherein X is dialkylaniline or triarylmethyl groups, organic boron salt to palladium salt molar ratio ranging from 0.5 to 10 and phosphine compound to palladium salt molar ratio ranging from 1.1 to 2.0. Process of copolymerization of carbon monoxide and olefins is carried out under stationary effect of catalyst. EFFECT: new generation of functional copolymers. 7 cl, 7 ex
