Compound contains anionic surfactant(s), hydrotrope(s) and carrier(s). Compound contains: (a) 60-95 wt.% anionic surfactant(s); (b) 5-40 wt.% hydrotrope(s); and (c) 0-35 wt.% carrier(s), all with respect to the weight of the additive. Independent claims are also included for: (a) tablets of compressed, particulate laundry or other detergent containing the compound; (b) the production of these tablets or multiphase by pressing premix(es) containing the compound(s).
