System for the cultivation and/or differentiation and/or preservation of cells and/or tissue has at least one culture container (6) which forms a closed chamber with at least one cultivation zone (13,14) and at least one inlet/outlet (16) for the culture or processing medium. The cultivation zone is surrounded with a capillary netting or a matrix of a material (17) for the culture medium. The material of the capillary netting fills the chamber totally or partially. The capillary netting material has a hydrophilic character to retain fluids as a fiber or nonwoven material, or a sponge or. The material for the capillary netting is of cellulose or paper. The fibers are cladded with an active ingredient, by immersion or coating, to delay the degrading action using contained and/or coatings of barrier and auxiliary matter. A part-chamber is formed on both sides of the cultivation zone (13,14). The culture container (6) is formed from a plate-shaped base component (12), flanked by cover or cap container sections (10,11). A number of part-chambers can be formed on one side of the plate. A dosing system delivers and/or extracts the active ingredient at the culture medium, using at least one channel with a permeable wall where the culture medium flows through. It is located in a zone where the ingredient can be introduced and removed, using one container section (11) where the channel runs through it with a hose or tube around the channel or forming the channel. The culture medium flows through a chamber, to be stabilized and its gas to be separated and collected in an upper gas zone. A connecting cap links a hose pipe to the supply bottle for the culture medium, in a sealed connection, which is also the connection for other functional units. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a culture container, with a heater for one or more of its chambers. The capillary netting or the interior zone of a matrix material is of an isolated material prepared naturally or chemically of extra-cellular matrix proteins. The matrix is of a chain material of recombinant proteins produced by biotechnology from extra-cellular matrix components. Sequences of information or pattern matter or peptide sequences are built into the chains; and (2) a dosing system to augment the culture medium, and a chamber to stabilize the culture medium and separate out any contained gas.
