Violin for virtuoso with one arm amputated has hydraulic-telescopic damper between shoulder belts and violin used to achieve bow movement along string axis
The violin has additional functions and control units for virtuoso play using one arm. The amplitude and frequency of bow motions are controlled via electronics and electromechanics by pedal-operated control elements and a head-controlled linear bow motor unit. A hydraulic-telescopic damper is used to achieve bow movement along the string axis. The necessary traction and pushing forces are initiated using the hand on the neck of the violin. The violin is made in conventional sizes 4/4, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 and has additional specifically configured structural functions and control units for virtuoso play using only one arm, whereby the amplitude and frequency of the bow motions are controlled via electronics and electromechanics by pedal-operated control elements and a head-controlled linear bow motor unit (12). A hydraulic-telescopic damper between shoulder belts and the violin is used to achieve bow movement along the string axis, whereby the necessary traction and pushing forces are initiated using the hand on the neck of the violin.
