The double pendulum axle has the upper ends of the wheel carriers (e.g. 72) supported by transverse connecting rods on the installation side. The connecting rod arm pivots (45, 46) on this side and the connecting rod pivots (63-66) are pivoted to an installation aid frame which is in two parts (121, 122) rigidly fixed to each other.
