When guidance vehicle (3') starts running, an indication is given to a vehicle (3'') via a communication unit. A controller (6'') of vehicle judges vehicle transit state based on indication sent to vehicle (3'). Vehicle (3') performs releasing indication of vehicle position holder operation by which controller releases holder operation. Vehicle (3'') is started after appropriate start time of vehicle (3'). The vehicle (3'') behind the guidance vehicle (3') is started after an appropriate time with respect to start of guidance vehicle, so as to maintain a fixed distance between the vehicles.
