The information interrogation method uses a speech channel of a mobile radio network (3) for communication of speech information between a mobile telephone (1) and a mobile radio service device (2) and a data channel of the mobile radio network for communication of data between the mobile radio service device and the mobile radio. The data is provided by analysis of the speech information and is output via the display (5) of the mobile telephone, during use of the speech channel for transmission of speech information. An independent claim for a mobile telephone for an information interrogation method is also included.
