The projector has an inner housing (41) with a light source (43),liquid crystal plates (54-56), lens (57) and various mirrors (44-50). Within the unit is an exhaust fan (62 A) that is located in the gap between the inner and outer housing. Directly below each lens are inlet fans. Air circulated across the lenses and passes into gap to outlet.
