The case (24) has a supercharged air inlet (34) situated on its lower wall (48), and a coolant circulator (26) circulating coolant in the case, where the coolant is chosen from a group comprising water and water and glycol mixture. An air choke flap (36) is provided at an outlet of the case, and is actuated pneumatically or electrically. The air choke flap has a disk shaped throttle valve (38) that adjusts opening of a compartment (40). The circulator has a coolant inlet (28) and a coolant outlet (30) that are placed on one of lateral walls (46) of the case. An independent claim is also included for an engine comprising a combustion chamber.
