Composition for enhancing the defense reactions of plants comprises an aqueous dispersion of a seaweed extract and molasses. An Independent claim is also included for production of the composition by mixing molasses with a powder obtained by drying a seaweed hydrolyzate and optionally diluting the mixture with an aqueous solution.
