The building condition checking system comprises an owner information terminal C1 by which a building owner makes a request via a public telephone network N to read building condition information showing the actual building conditions of a building ordered from a building contractor; a contractor information terminal C2 by which the building contractor uploads the building condition information; a datebase of standard information; and a server S for providing the building condition information uploaded from the contractor information terminal C2 to the owner information terminal C1 in response to a request from the owner information terminal C1.
