Pen carriage and pen armament device and pen conveying manner

PURPOSE: To hold a pen different in shape in a replaceable manner by increasing and decreasing the size of the opening of a carriage by a spacer mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: A base 102 having a feature supporting a pen and the chute assembly 106 attached to the base 102 and demarcating an opening are provided. The chute assembly 106 includes a first guide member consisting of guide walls 140, 142, 144 and a spacer 150 guiding the pen inserted into the opening toward the feature in a first shape and the second guide member attached to the chute assembly 106 and movable so as to change the size of the opening and guiding the pen inserted into the opening toward the feature in a second shape. As a result, a pen carriage constituted so as to interchangeably hold a pen different in shape can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
