The device (10) has a supporting device (12) provided for mounting a cover. The supporting device has a conveyor device (14) by which the device is conveyed in a suspended manner. The device (10) is formed from lightweight building material such as light alloy and/or glass fiber reinforced plastic and/or wood. The device (10) is formed from form-stable material during variations in temperature. Laminated mold receptacles are provided in the device. The device (10) is designed as a C-shaped hanger. An independent claim is also included for an assembly installation comprising a cover conveyor system.
